Pairing Gentler Cleanser
If you wear waterproof makeups and/or sunscreen, consider removing them with cleansing balms or micellar waters first. Double cleansing help to ensure non-water-soluble grimes are removed properly.
After washing your face, follow with moisturizers to replenish moisture back to your skin (our Barrier Defender is a great option). At daytime, follow with sunscreen as the last step.
Directions:
Apply half a pump (or as needed). Lather well on hand, apply to face, gently massage, rinse well, and pat dry. Suitable for daily use, day and/or nighttime.
Packaging Material
For the packaging of the Gentler Cleanser, we opt for a monolayer polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle because it has better recyclability than the usual multilayer co-extruded tubes.
Plastic recyclability varies depending on the plastic types and local recycler's capacity, but PET is one of the most widely recycled plastic globally.
Our box is made of recycled cardboard and paper.
How To Recycle
Clean out the residual content (if any) with water and separate the bottle from the pump before throwing them into the recycling bin.
The pump of Gentler Cleanser is not yet widely recycled due to the mix of materials used. We are working hard to find an alternative solution for this.
The Perfect Balance
We believe the key to the perfect face wash is about balance.
Cleansers that are too strong might clean well but could be harsh and dry out your skin. But, cleansers that are too mild might not clean that well and could lead to clogged pores.
Our Gentler Cleanser is formulated with this delicate balance in mind.
If you are not wearing waterproof makeup and sunscreen, Gentler Cleanser will work as an effective standalone cleanser.
If you do wear waterproof makeup and sunscreen, Gentler Cleanser is gentle and non-stripping as your second cleanser.
